Air Displays - 2005 Season

Plus 6 G offer the unique 1,115 hp turbine powered C3605. This aircraft was operated by the Swiss Air Force originally as a C3603 fighter bomber during the Second World War with a Hispano V12, it was later converted and re engined with a Lycoming in 1972. It lost its rear gunner and became a dual controlled trainer, thankfully escaping the fate of the rest of the fleet that became target tugs, often refered to in German as schlepps.
It has impressive dimensions, great visual density, a lovely turbine note and a stunning colour scheme.
